Web Pages & Mailing Address

PayPal Web Pages- For some time I've been wanting to set up a retail shopping cart page for the numerous products in the IMS files which could be sold. Recently , a few items have become more viable and having a page where orders can be placed is becoming quite important. So expect to see this page be presented in the near future. In the meantime orders from existing customers can be taken via e-mail or phone and once the new IMS mailing address is set-up, via the PO Box (see below). Those of you who have been given address information for either of my studios may use that. I don't care to publish those addresses on the internet.

AOL Web Pages - AOL is closing AOL Hometown, which is where the bulk of the web pages have been hosted since the inception of The IMS Virtual Studio. For the time being those pages have been downloaded and will be used as attachements when requested. The new pages will be restructured in a studio based design program. Since I am not certian exactly how to go about that, it may take a while to reformat the pages. Hence, I will post summaries here as I develop new pages and determine what server to post them on. Look for the expansion of this site to include some of the elements from the other pages. If I have made reference to another web page, or you find a dead link to that page, I will send you a copy if you need it. Otherwise, have patience as I restructure the Virtual Studio. AG

IMS Mailing Address - Image of the Mind Studios has closed the New Hope mailing address. Urgent mail can be sent to- Image of the Mind Studios c/o General Delivery, Bryn Athyn Post Office 19009. Please do not send advertising or promotional materials there until a box number has been established.

Evaluations;

2009 Parade;

Summary: The Shakespeareans of Tamanend Park were presented before the community in the Southampton Days Parade this year. The theme of the parade was "The Earl of Southampton presents Queen Elizabeth and her Entourage" There were 15 participants in the parade which went very well and resulted in the groups winning first place in the neighborhood category. Everyone was delighted by this honor and enjoyed a barbecue at the stage afterward.
(More details on this subject later)

2009 Spring Time slot;

Summary:
Work took place on design of the production management for the Spring Production time slot during the winter months, but implementation was discontinued for that time slot in deference to work on the Southampton Days Parade this year. The feeling being that the parade was a more important use of resources. The structure of this production time slot remains intact for a future use when, the sponsorship program is more effectively under way, the troupe is larger and therefore more capable of implementation.

2008 Program;

Saturday September 20th & Sunday September 21st
Summary: Performances took place at The Village Renaissance Faire in Wrightstown.Performances were somewhat spontaneous, being uncertian about how many people would be participating, but everything turned out pretty well and we even had the honor of havingThe Bard, William Shakespeare himself attend out Sunday performance.I was pleased to serve as a roving minstrel, playing the fife for our Queen, Elizebeth,who was kind enough to personally bestow her appreciation for my performance.
.
Saturday September 27th & Sunday September 28th
Summary: Performances were cancelled for rain. A number of folks showed up anyway willing to brave the wet weather. Thank you for that.
.
Saturday October 4th 3:00 show time
Summary: This was our first performance in the new Meadow Amphitheatre, attendance was lighter than we had hoped for but there were a quite a few of people who came by to check out the space. Those who did not bring a lawn chair or blanket, stayed for a while but left about half way thru. It was a good run-thru and an enjoyable performance experience anyway.
.

Sunday October 5th 3:00 show time
Summary: Attendance on the second day tripled, as did contributions. Unfortunately the distance from the parking area to the stage was a bit too much for some older folks and some mis-information caused them to turn back, much to their dismay. The atmosphere was considerably more festive and the program went smoother, however, there was a conflict with the volume of the music coming from the Lion's Grove stage. This is an issue that needs to be resolved, probably by scheduling. A number of very loud airplanes flew by, I'm sure they were flying low to check out Shakespeare in the Park. There were many comments about how impressive the stage was and numerous folks were amazed and pleased that we were doing this in the Park. For those who are not familiar with "Much Ado", we explained some of the scenes, but I would have liked to have done that better. About half of the presentation was script-in-hand, because of the difficulty in finding performers able to schedule their participation. There were a couple of snafus because of that, but I am sure this will gradully improve as people become involved. Even with the script-in-hand, it was an enjoyable and diverse program. Our friends who came over to present "The Taming of the Shrew" did a wonderful job in helping the program to be diverse and we hope to see more groups present their own productions in conjunction with what the Shakespeareans are working on. We thank them for filling in and reading some parts of "Much Ado". We also introduced the first musical number from The Gnomes of New Hope and to our good fortune it was very well received. The musical presentation went fairly well, the solos were quite fine and considering half our singers never rehearsed the choral piece "Hey nonny, nonny" it sounded pretty good. One very good classical operetic piece was not presented because our most excellent singer was not in attendance. We video-taped the event and overall it looked and sounded pretty good. Obviously a few things need to be changed, but clearly we had an excellent christening to the effort to bring Shakespeare to the community.
.
The Raffles will be extended into future Performances (refer to the index)
.
Saturday October 11th & Sunday October 12th;
Because of the previous weekend, we thought it would be too chilly to perform on these dates at 3pm. That was a wrong assumption, because it would have been a wonderful weekend. We will need to make accomodations for this possibility in the future.
