I’ve been thinking about this for some time and have decided on a pathway into the future for Image of the Mind Studios. Operations in Southampton are strained for various reasons, the most of which are the limitations founded in the existing facilities. I had a very workable plan for that, which still exist, but those plans require a large amount of resources to implement in an urban environment that is beset with issues of zoning, permits, code restriction and taxation. This plan also comes with the requirement of consistent cash flow to implement and maintain a sizable staff, which, of course has to be provided for by substantial activity that must be sustained for ongoing operations. As much as I can see this Vision being able to work well, I cannot be the primary force to sustain this. I am simply too old to take this mission on alone.
Likewise, The - Theatrical Development Centre idea project requiring substantial resources and energy.
So my current thinking runs along the lines of rebuilding the studio based of a separate management group that will align themselves with the current mission with the caveat that after a certain period of time, control of the overall operation will transfer from the current scenario to the new management structure and ownership will pass out of my hands.
Part of the plan involves constructing a theatre space.
To be continued…
